30-09-2013 News UK

The establishment of EasyLog-in, a new user management component for the public sector in common, gives access to new functionality which all Danish public authorities can make use of. Next step is to expand the joint components, available free of charge for authorities in order to improve relevant digital solutions locally.

The “EasyLog-in/useradministration” component has now been launched. Consequently, the national portal for businesses – – switched to using the common public EasyLog-in component by week 35 . To succeed with such a large and complex task is not an easy thing to do. For brief moments of the transition period, users could not get access to the new user administration. uses now EasyLog-in as a secure log-in platform, just as the national citizen portal

EasyLog-in´s public user management component is a solution targeted both at public and private sector employees. It provides single sign on which makes it possible for employees to work across connected authorities’ digital platforms without having to log-in multiple times.

Other new EasyLog-in components ready for use, are a signing component and a Power-of-Attorney component.

"With the launch of the new EasyLog-in components and's transition to EasyLog-in, we have reached an important milestone in terms of getting the digital infrastructure in place so that authorities can provide a better and safer way to communicate digitally for businesses and citizens",  says Lone Berglykke Head of Division at the Danish Agency for Digitisation . "The public user management, where EasyLog-in and EasyID are essential, are aimed at reducing investments in infrastructure for public authorities and ultimately provide better services for the citizens."

The next important milestone for EasyLog-in is to put the new EasyLog-in components into service in the digital  solutions of public authorities and to integrate EasyLog-in components into new solutions under development.
